Like most mobile games Ark of War (AOW) incentives you to login on a daily basis. To that end here is a list of things that you should do on a daily basis to make the most of your time in game.
VIP Rewards - The first time that you login each day collect your VIP rewards. What you get and how much you get will vary depending on what VIP level you are.
Collect magazines in explore - Each day you will be able to collect some magazines for your commanders in the explore section. How much I'm not entirely sure but collecting, and saving them, will help you have the strongest commander that you can.
Daily Rewards - This will vary depending on the day. On Tuesday and Thursday you will get the Super Vending Machine where you can buy up to 8 items (for gold of course...BUT you can use your coupons!). Other days and during holidays you will be collecting daily login rewards and monthly rewards. These are sometimes gold, speed ups, magazines and other items.
Time and Space War Collection - This is the space station in the upper left hand side of your interface. It's not completely necessary to collect your essence every day but there is a daily quest (more on that in another post) that asks you to collect times of essence. What you really want to be looking is the see if your "Mop Up" is available which will refresh your merchant. This is another area where you can buy stuff. You will use gold, cash and essence in this area. Rewards are shields, magazines, shadow matter and much more! Before you leave hit that collect button to get your two times for the daily quests!
Always be farming (except on the weekend..and even then maybe!) - In this game troops don't come back on their own after gathering so you need to call them back from their tile. If they are hit while on tile you get nothing (neither does the attacker!). I will put out 3 to 4 commanders a night to farm and in the morning I'll call them all back.
Check your investments (cargo hold) - Always be investing. This game can be brutal and you will need gold. Always be investing to purchase items or to get shields so you are not attacked!
Collect your commander - Every 24 hours you get the opportunity to collect a new commander. Most of the time, after awhile, it's a repeat of one you already have but every now and then you'll get someone who you can upgrade!
Guild Events - If you are in a guild, you should be checking which guild event is active and which guild event is coming up later in the day. The most important guild event to be aware of is the Guild Donations Event since you only have 2 chances to donate resources to the guild (by donating to Guild buffs). When the Guild Monster Kill Event is winding down DO NOT donate to the Guild Buffs.
Individual Events - These are optional, but if you can place in the top 50, you can receive a small amount of Gold and other prizes based on your ranking for the event. When doing individual events, be sure to wait for the Guild event to start for that particular event if possible.
